Privacy Policy

MINDARAE TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED ("MINDARAE", "we", "us", or "our") builds digital products including Glowhiz, a wellness and self-awareness companion for compatible smart rings. This policy explains how we handle information on this company website and in Glowhiz.

Glowhiz and health-related data

The current Glowhiz app does not require an account and does not provide a cloud health dashboard. Ring wellness data—such as sleep, heart-rate, HRV, stress, blood oxygen, activity, timestamps, and data-quality states—is normalized and stored locally on the user's phone. Glowhiz does not routinely upload that health data to MINDARAE.

Glowhiz may also store the user's journal text, notes, photos or videos, voice recordings, preferences, ring binding state, and downloaded mindfulness resources locally. Content leaves the phone only when the user explicitly shares or exports it through the operating system, or when the app downloads public mindfulness resources from res.glowhiz.com.

Permissions

Glowhiz uses Bluetooth for ring discovery, connection, binding, reconnection, and sync; camera and Photos when the user chooses to add or save a moment; microphone when the user records a voice note; and notifications for optional reminders. Some Android versions require location permission for Bluetooth scanning compatibility; the current product flow does not create a GPS history or upload location. The current iOS app does not request location permission. Glowhiz does not currently access Apple Health or Health Connect.

Website and service logs

This company website and public Glowhiz resources may receive ordinary operational information such as IP address, request time, requested path, response status, user agent, referrer, and basic connection details. We use this information for security, availability, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention. Access is restricted to site operations, and logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law. The exact retention period depends on the applicable server operations policy.

Sharing, retention, and deletion

When a user chooses to share or export content, the selected recipient or third-party service controls what happens next. Local Glowhiz records and cached resources can be removed by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app; data already stored on the ring is not erased by uninstalling Glowhiz. If you email us, we retain your message and contact details only as reasonably necessary to respond, provide support, protect our rights, or meet legal obligations.

Wellness boundary

Glowhiz is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Information shown by the product may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and should not replace professional medical advice.
